Nothing celebrates the warmer weather than evening garden dinner parties under the open sky. They are especially memorable when done in a location that it is somewhat remote as this event was. This particular dinner was held at Jean’s Urban Farm as a fundraiser for The Garden Learning Institute which is also the site of Mother Earth School. While this garden, is actually within the city limits of Portland, it felt as if we were in a very rural part of Oregon. Chef Ryan Abitz of Urban Gourmet Delivery artfully prepared a 5 course Paleo inspired menu including poached salmon and braised beef cheek, culminating with a gold sprayed dessert of lemon coconut cream and berries served over dry ice.The dessert was not only photogenic but delicious too. I particularly love to document these events with gorgeous images of the dinner.
